Babymoon: SoCal

So we finally were able to plan a little get-a-way aka "babymoon." David had a day long conference in Long Beach, CA so I tagged along for some much needed time off.

We started out in Santa Monica and stayed right near the beach. It was beautiful.

That night we walked down to the Santa Monica pier and had dinner at an awesome Italian restaurant.

The next morning we took the beautiful scenic drive on the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) to Malibu for breakfast.

That afternoon we headed back to Long Beach. David surprised me with a two night hotel stay aboard the Queen Mary! SO much history and apparently paranormal activity (luckily no sightings for us...that would have scared the daylights outta me).

Saturday morning we went to the Aquarium of the Pacific and then headed out on a 3 hour whale watch. We got to see a Grey whale and her calf along with a Fin whale. Pretty much everyone got sea sick...I did well until we started to head back...it was downhill after that. But still had a blast.

Saturday night was spent with family eating dinner and taking a tour of Hollywood and Los Angeles. We stayed the night in a little boutique hotel in Beverly Hills.

I really enjoyed the whole she-bang! The weather was beautiful the WHOLE entire trip. 65-70 degrees and sunny. Was definitely hard get back on that plane and head home to Texas.

Special thanks to my hubby for planning the whole trip out! I am truly blessed.

Love to All,
D, Baby G, and Lil' Gibby
