Mom's Texas Visit

The last time I saw my mom was 9 years ago. My sister and I decided to fly her in from Florida for two weeks (one week with me and one with her). Although we've never been really close it was a great experience and one I'll never forget or regret. We did A LOT of cooking, shopping, and relaxing! Here's a few pics from our week!

Overall we had a blast!

Happy Birthday! Dirty 30....

I've got a lot of catching up to do!

Let's start with my birthday! The big 3-0! It was low key and fantastic. David took me out to a French restaurant called Le Mistral. Yum! We had the chefs table and a 4 course meal!

He got a me a beautiful diamond solitaire necklace that I've been wanting for a while.

Thanks for a special day Gibby!

GREAT News!

I had my 20 week detailed scan today...and received great news! The Choroid Plexus Cyst on Baby B's brain has left the building! It's no longer there. YAY! This was a the main concern for us so it's a great thing it's gone. The Dr. said the babies are beautiful, no problems at all. 10 little fingers and 10 little toes on each.  God is good friends, God is good.

Baby A is 12oz and Baby B is 13oz. The ultrasound tech asked if I'd had coffee that morning because they were SOO active. They were rolling around and Baby A was actually kicking Baby B in the head. LOL. Already starting with the fighting.

Love to All,

Halfway There

So I'm at 20 weeks! YAY, halfway there.

David's in Russia for two weeks so my bestie, Christi, came to town this past weekend and we got a TON of stuff done. Finished all the registries and decorated the baby's room. It looks so good! I'm utterly exhausted though. I never thought my feet could hurt so bad. Totally worth it!

I'm getting bigger every day! See belly progress pics if you don't believe me! It's hilarious because several people have asked if I'm ready....as in I'm fixing to give birth. Um, no sir....I'm only halfway there. Let's let these little babies cook some more.

Couple of Common Questions I get:

Stretch Marks? Nope

Sleep? Buh, what is sound sleep?

Movement? Nothing yet....c'mon babies get with the program.

Cravings? Juice and carbs

Gender? Surprise but we know they're fraternal

Belly Button In or Out? trying it's way to an outtie

Symptoms? Heartburn at night time before bed and swelling of the feet.

Working Out?  of course still doing CrossFit about 3-4x/week. Scaling movements as needed.
